Super MiniStar Description: Easy-to-use dual start/stop functions - control starting and stoping with power button or by opening and closing the lid. 
This compact mini-centrifuge is ideal for quick spin-downs from tube walls and caps. Use to microfilter cell separations and HPLC samples. With most spins lasting around 20 seconds, Drawell is designed for easy opening. Ergonomically designed lid conforms to hand for one-handed operation.
Operation is extremely simple: load tubes, close lid, and press on/off button. Rotor accelerates quickly to12000rpm (7450 x g). For repeated spins, simply open/close lid to operate mini-centrifuge. As a safety feature the motor will not operate if the lid is open.Rubber footplate keeps unit stable and deadens vibration.Smooth, durable ABS finish is easy to clean. 
Includes three rotors: two glass-filled polycarbonate circular rotors and one polycarbonate strip tube rotor. Circular, six-place, one-size rotor spins six 1.5- and 0.5/0.2-mL tubes; use with adapters to spin six 0.4- and 0.5-mL tubes. Circular, six-place, dual-size rotor spins three 0.4- and 0.5-mL tubes as well as three 1.5- and 2.0-mL tubes. Strip rotor accepts 2* 8 x 0.2-mL PCR tube strips or 16 individual 0.2-mL PCR tubes.

Timer can be set for 1-99 minutes and includes a hold function for longer spins

The ABS Sensor is typically located in each wheel hub/rotor on a four channel ABS system. The anti-lock braking system uses an ABS or wheel Sensor to monitor the wheel speed and send this information to the ABS computer. The ABS computer uses this information to prevent the brakes from locking during an emergency stop. If wheel speeds are not equal the computer modulates the anti-lock feature until the speeds are equalized.

Typically these sensors will fail as a result of clogging from metallic debris, brake dust or dirt due to exposure to the harsh elements. It is advisable to check it regularly.
