Technology Center of DuPage fire science open house

This message is from Andy Hilk:

On my days off, I teach a fire science class to high school students at the Technology Center of DuPage (TCD), which is a Career and Technical Education (CTE) high school for juniors and seniors in DuPage County. The program enrolls around 1,100 students who attend either morning or afternoon sessions. Students can choose from various programs such as Fire Science/EMT, Criminal Justice, Auto Body, Construction, and more.
Last Saturday, TCD hosted its annual expo on Swift Road in Addison, and the students took part in a mock crash scenario in the parking lot with support from the Addison Fire Department. Last year, the Wood Dale Fire Department donated two vehicles to TCD: a vintage Pierce Dash from the 1980s, which I believe was once Engine 68, and a Ford/Wheeled Coach ambulance. These vehicles have since been re-lettered as TCD units, with a special acknowledgment to Wood Dale for their generous contribution.
