The four NQI key technical standards undertaken by China Electric Power Research Institute started

[ China Instrument Network Instrument R&D ] June 27-28, China Electric Power Research Institute took the lead and participated in the "Technical Specifications for Power Grid Security and Stability Control Devices", "Technical Guidelines for Power System Station Dead Zone (Failure) Protection" Four national standards start-up meetings, such as the “Electrical Protection Online Monitoring and Analysis Technical Specification”, “Relay Protection Setting Calculation Data and Software Technical Specifications”, were held in Beijing. The National Adjustment Center, the South Network General Regulation, the State Grid Northwest Division, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, etc. More than 40 experts from 32 units participated.

At the kick-off meeting, the four standard drafting groups reported the standard implementation plan, milestone plan, internal organization management mechanism, etc. to the participating experts, and discussed the standard outline, draft, follow-up implementation plan and results requirements in detail. The four standards will promote the standardization of the stability control device, effectively prevent the DC continuous commutation failure caused by the dead zone failure or the breaker failure, promote the quantification standard of the online analysis of the relay protection, the analysis process and the analysis method, and improve the tuning calculation. Software functions and data normative aspects play an important role, with significant social and economic benefits.
NQI is an abbreviation for National Quality Infrastructure. In July 2017, State Grid Corporation of China, China Electric Power Research Institute, and China Southern Power Grid Corporation jointly declared the key national special research and development plan “NQI” of the National Quality Foundation, and the key project of UHV AC-DC hybrid power grid operation. The “Technical Standards Research” project analyzes the adaptability of existing standards to the safe and stable operation of UHV AC-DC hybrid power grids, and studies the key technical standards that are urgently needed for the operation and control of AC/DC hybrid power grids. Firm foundation.
