The Algonquin-Lake In The Hills Fire Protection District serves a growing community and is part of both MABAS Division 2 and Division 5. The department operates from three stations, with its main headquarters located in Lake In The Hills on Algonquin Road. Recently, the district received two new units from Ferrara: an MVP pumper mounted on an Igniter chassis and a rear-mount tower ladder on an Inferno chassis. They also added two new Medtec ambulances, built on Freightliner M2106 Business Class chassis. In addition to these, they have a pair of KME Predator rescue pumpers that are still in service. While the full list of vehicles isn't complete yet, more images will be posted soon. This update reflects the ongoing modernization and expansion of the department’s fleet.
