Tim Olk is back on the scene of Tuesday’s 5-11 + 2 Specials, now responding as a Still & Box Alarm. He shared some updates from the fireground. The CFD has brought back 6-7-1, the large turret wagon that had been off the roster for some time, and assigned it to the incident. CFD Turret Wagon 6-7-1 working at the scene of Tuesday’s fire. This unit, 6-7-1, has a long history with the department and seems to be making a welcome return. The photos from both Tim Olk and CFD Media give a great look at how this classic piece of machinery is performing on the scene. It’s a reminder that even older vehicles can play a crucial role in modern firefighting operations.
