On the early morning of Tuesday, July 31st, the Cicero Fire Department responded to a Box Alarm. Steve Redick captured the scene at the Dollar Store located at 1800 S. Cicero Avenue. He shared some photos along with his observations:
"The fire was contained by the sprinkler system, and due to high humidity, the smoke was minimal, making it challenging to capture good images. I was told that a wall in the large vacant commercial building in Sector 4 was breached, likely for inspection purposes. Unfortunately, Division 10 MVU was out of service at the time."
