It is reported that CSR Shanghai Hange and Singapore General Haiye Group recently signed a cooperation contract for two 57-meter multi-purpose marine engineering support ship electric propulsion systems. This is the first order harvested by China's CRRC ship electro-pushing system industry in 2016, and it is also the first application in foreign offshore ship projects. The ship is classified by the French Classification Society. The shipyard is China Merchants Heavy Industry (Haimen) Co., Ltd., with a construction period of 19 months. The first ship is expected to be delivered in October 2017.
Due to the declining global oil market, deep-sea oil wells have gradually shut down and developed offshore oilfields, so there is a strong demand for shallow draught multi-purpose offshore vessels. The ship type of this cooperation is a multi-purpose integrated engineering ship. The hull has a small function and can not only provide anchoring, diving support, towing, material supply, rescue fire, etc., but mainly provide services to the Middle East Emirates National Oil Company, and the market prospect is remarkable.
It is worth mentioning that the ship project will be equipped with the electric propulsion system of the whole vehicle brand equipment, which is the first application of the CSR self-owned brand equipment electric propulsion system in the foreign offshore ship project. In order to ensure the smooth implementation of the project, the project team of Shanghai CRRC and the parent company CZ Zhuzhou has communicated with the shipowners, design companies and shipyards several times, and the plan has been continuously optimized and upgraded. The project will further improve the integration level and autonomy of the CSR ship and offshore technical team, and will greatly enhance the international influence of the CSR brand in the overseas offshore market, which is of great significance.
At present, the electric propulsion system independently developed by CZ Zhuzhou has successively been carried out in the “Xiangyanghong No. 10†marine comprehensive research ship of the State Oceanic Administration, the national “archaeological ship No. 01â€, the 50,000-ton semi-submersible ship, the ocean-going ship, and the first The domestically produced 146-meter special transport ship was loaded and operated on the superior ships and won unanimous praise.

Top Plugs:

Bottom Plugs
Like the Top Cementing Plug, the fins and tail section provide positive wiping action. Fins also serve as a seal while cementing. The core of the bottom plug also made of special materials such as Aluminium or Phenolic depending on the application and well conditions. A rubber diaphragm at the top of bottom plugs ruptures after the plug is seated allowing cement to flow through.
