Forest View working fire 12/2/13

There was a fire involving a couple of semi-trucks on Monday at 5200 W 47th St. As I was heading from my house, I saw the smoke coming from 39th and Lombard. The first photo was taken with my phone while I was crossing the Central Bridge on the way there. Here are some of the shots I captured at the scene.

I arrived just as the flames were getting more intense. It was pretty chaotic, but people were keeping their distance and trying to get a good view. I managed to take a few more pictures once I got closer. The fire department was already on the scene, and it looked like they were working hard to contain the blaze. Iâ€™m not sure what caused it yet, but itâ€™s definitely something that caught a lot of attention in the neighborhood.
