Definitions The hardener pump is usually a mechanical diaphragm type metering pump for the delivery of hardener (benzene sulfonic acid) on the resin sand mixer. A kind of special volumetric pump that can meet the needs of the resin sand mixed sand process flow and the flow can be adjusted steplessly within 0-100 to transport liquid (especially corrosive liquid).

Working principle Curing agent pump is mainly composed of drive motor, crank linkage mechanism, pump head, check valve, flow adjustment knob and other components.

The motor drives the worm gear and worm gear to change speed through the direct drive. Under the action of the crank connecting rod mechanism, the rotary motion is converted into a reciprocating linear motion. The slide bar is directly connected with the diaphragm. When the slide bar reciprocates, it directly pushes (pulls) the movable diaphragm to move back and forth, and the suction valve is opened and closed by a check valve on the pump head to achieve the function of conveying the curing agent.

Hardener pump installation 1 . The pump should be installed on high concrete 300-500 mm above the ground, or a corresponding rigid base, and the pump calibrated in a horizontal position.

2. There should be no sharp elbows on the suction and discharge piping, and minimize the bending and resistance-increasing components in the piping.

3. Do not install the pump in direct sunlight.

4. Do not install the pump in locations exposed to moisture or corrosive gases.

5. The ambient temperature at which the pump is installed should be -20 to +40 degrees Celsius.

Curing agent pump input and output piping installation 1 . The diameter of the suction piping should not be less than the suction valve diameter of the pump, and the length of the suction piping should be shortened as much as possible. Generally, it is 1-2 meters. If it is necessary to increase the length, the length should not exceed 4 meters.

2. The pipes connected to the suction and discharge valves cannot be forced to increase the load on the pump valves. The weight of the pipes and valves must not be borne by the pump and the suction and discharge valves. Pipes should be supported and fixed after the pipes are installed.

3. In order to ensure the safe operation of the pump and the safety of the piping system, it is recommended to install a safety valve on the discharge line. If it is necessary to reduce the pulse during the curing agent delivery, a damper can be installed near the discharge line of the pump if the outlet side of the pump. In case of unstable pressure, it is recommended to install a back pressure valve.

Curing agent pump storage 1, short-term storage 1. In a dry environment, store indoors at room temperature.

2. In response to environmental requirements, precautions may be taken to prevent water or moisture from entering the eccentric housing.

3. Make a thorough check before starting.

Second, long-term storage Long-term storage, every 12 months to the drive motor power, let the pump run for at least one hour, the operation of the pump head without fluid, but the outlet must be open to the atmosphere.
