Recently, the 210,000 tons/year urea project of Xinjiang Hongji Coking Co., Ltd. was formally put into operation. The project can recycle 240 million cubic meters of coke oven gas annually.
It is understood that Hongji coking is a modern coal coking production enterprise built in accordance with the requirements of national industry access, relying on the abundant coal resources in Fukang City to build a "coal-coke-to-electricity" recycling industrial chain. The company uses the coke oven surplus gas to produce chemical fertilizers and the use of coking coal washing process to produce coal slurry, vermiculite, China Coal power generation, has a significant circular economy characteristics.
In order to extend the industrial chain and improve the efficiency of resource use, Hongji Coking invested 750 million yuan, using surplus coke oven gas produced from coking as raw material, and producing urea at a low cost, thus achieving the goal of energy conservation, emission reduction, clean production, and development of a recycling economy. It is reported that urea is the most nitrogen-neutral solid fertilizer and it is also an important chemical raw material. Xinjiang is an important production base for agriculture and animal husbandry in China, and there is a large demand for urea and other fertilizer products. Hongji coking uses coke oven gas that produces surplus coke. The production of urea is cheaper than the use of oil and natural gas, and has certain market competitive advantages.
According to reports, after the completion of the project, the comprehensive utilization rate of coke oven gas has been increased, which can effectively reduce the dependence of the XPCC's agriculture on the external urea market, and has led and promoted XPCC's new industrialization and agricultural modernization.
