STX Dalian engine and Mann Diesel Engine Co., Ltd. jointly developed the world's first electronically controlled marine host STX-MAN 7S50ME-B Mk9 stereotype test successfully.
On March 19th, a three-day 7S50ME-B Mk9 model test was conducted at the STX Dalian engine plant. The test invited STX Dalian engine, shipyard (STX Dalian Shipbuilding), technical engineer of Shipowner (SIBA Shipping) and relevant technical personnel of 12 national classification societies to participate in testing and certification.
The STX-MAN7S50ME-B electronically controlled marine main engine developed this time has a burst pressure of up to 180 Bar. It uses an electronically controlled fuel supply and conforms to the environmental protection concept while complying with the IMO (National Maritime Organization) Tier II emission standard. . The main components of the mainframe such as the crankshaft and frame are directly manufactured by STX Dalian engine. The performance and quality of the components are highly praised by ship owners and shipyards.
In the future, STX Dalian Engine also plans to develop a new and more efficient marine main engine through proactive exploration.
