According to the introduction of PetroChina Dushanzi Petrochemical Branch Company, eight 150,000-ton ethylene cracking furnace installations of Dushanzi Petrochemical, which was constructed by China Petroleum Sixth Construction Company, formally entered the installation phase from the civil construction phase. This device is currently the cracking furnace with the largest cracking capacity in the country, and it is also the leading device of China's largest integrated refining and chemical project, Dushanzi's “10 million tons of oil refining and 1 million tons of ethylene projectâ€.
The main physical quantity of the project includes 8 sets of ethylene pyrolysis furnaces with an annual capacity of 150,000 tons. It also includes the furnace piping equipment, pumps, and electrical and instrument installations as well as anti-corrosion insulation. It is planned to be completed in May next year.
Dushanzi Petrochemical has a total investment of 30 billion yuan in the "10 million-ton oil refining and 1 million-ton ethylene project." It is China Petrol's largest investment in the downstream and the largest scale of refinery integration projects.
