How to use the national III heavy truck in the new environment?

On July 1st, the third phase of the National Vehicle Pollutant Emission Standard (hereinafter referred to as "State III") was formally implemented. This is a severe challenge to the rapid development of China's heavy truck industry in recent years. Some experts believe that with the implementation of the National III standard, heavy-duty truck companies will face the test of life and death, while the lack of core technologies and spare parts, oil adaptability, and service guarantees are three irresolute flaws.

On June 19th, “2008 State III Heavy Truck Users Wealth Trip” was held in Shaanxi Automobile Commercial Vehicle Industrial Park. This event was under the general background of the nationwide implementation of State III emission standards on July 1. Faced with problems such as the decline in revenue due to increased costs of car purchase, use, maintenance, etc., it is designed to allow users to truly understand how to use the Authentic State III heavy truck to create greater wealth in the new situation and new environment.

State III Market Status

When interviewing participants, we found that users have little understanding of the country III and are concerned about the changes in the user's returns. Shaanxi Automobile's first "2008 State III Heavy Truck Users Wealth Trip" activity is quite refreshing. The users realized the true meaning of the State III heavy truck.

From country I to country III, the engine used in heavy trucks has changed from self-priming, supercharged and intercooled, to electronically controlled engines, which is the change from mechanical to electronically controlled engines. State III (Euro III) and State IV are the requirements for national environmental protection. This is the need of the technological development trend. Shaanxi Auto showcased in the Fortune Tour activities the country's Section III oil-based lightweight new products, DeLong F3000, pure natural gas heavy trucks, etc. product.

At present, China's State III emission standards have different ways of realization, and the benefits arising from their use are very different. They are concentrated in mature technologies and fuel consumption. Many domestic engine experts believe that “electronic control” is a sign of the State III heavy truck and is the mainstream of more advanced emission technologies such as the State IV and State V in the future. This technology effectively reduces fuel consumption and reduces user costs; at present, the world-renowned heavy truck company VOLVO , Mercedes-Benz and IVECO all use electronically controlled high pressure common rail technology, while 90% of domestic companies such as FAW, Dongfeng, Shaanxi Auto and Auman use electronic control technology. “Mechanical Exhaust Gas Recirculation Technology” is difficult to achieve State III emission control, and as the use of fuel consumption continues to increase, the exhaust gas and particulates generated by the recirculation will significantly affect the engine performance, especially the engine idle speed, low speed, low load and When it is cold, it can easily cause cylinder volume carbon, overheat, excessive fuel consumption, and the chance of engine damage increases by 15% to 30%.

National III Emissions

State III emissions are Euro III emissions. Specifically speaking, it is the third-stage emission standard for heavy-duty vehicles, and the concentration of harmful gases such as CO (carbon monoxide), HC+NOx (hydrocarbons and nitrogen oxides), PM (particles, soot), etc. in vehicle exhaust that meets the national III emission standards Vehicles that meet the National II emission standards are 30% to 50% lower.

State III emissions must “improve engine oil and gas mixture and make the oil and gas reach full and homogeneous mixed combustion”, and to achieve this goal, the international community generally adopts the following technical approaches to achieve:

First, electronically controlled high pressure common rail technology: In the common rail pressure accumulator injection system, the ECU receives the signal from each sensor and uses the solenoid valve on the injector to allow the diesel fuel to spray with the correct pressure. The point of injection delivers the correct amount of fuel injected to ensure optimal combustion ratio, atomization and optimum ignition timing of the diesel engine, as well as good economy and minimal emissions. In the popular sense, the current engine is equipped with a computer (ECU is equivalent to the engine's computer), allowing the computer to direct the engine to work scientifically.

The electronically controlled high pressure common rail technology has been adopted by companies such as Volvo, Mercedes-Benz, IVECO, MAN, Shaanxi Auto, Liberation, Auman, Hongyan, etc., and has become the most widely used technology to achieve State III emission.

The second is the electronic control pump nozzle technology: In the pump nozzle system, the fuel injection pump and the fuel injection nozzle form a unit. The ECU, that is, the computer-controlled rocker arm or the indirect engine camshaft, pushes the injector to inject the oil accurately. At present, the electronically controlled pump nozzle technology is adopted by Volvo, Dongfeng, Shaanxi Auto and other enterprises. In addition, the professional engine manufacturer Cummins's all-electrically controlled engine application is also a pump nozzle technology, and the current engine of the technology is currently globally maintained. With more than 400,000 units and a mileage of 300 billion kilometers, it is a proven and mature product. This technology is used by Shaanxi Auto Delong FC III III heavy trucks.

The third is the electronically controlled monomer pump technology: the single pump system works in the same way as the pump nozzle. Unlike the pump nozzle system, the fuel injector and the pump are connected by a short jet tubing and are driven by the engine's camshaft. . The electronically controlled monomer pump technology is adopted by Mercedes-Benz and IVECO (Iveco) and has few domestic applications.

There is also a technology that has long been eliminated - H pump + EGR technology. It is based on the State II mechanical pump, the use of electromagnets to control the mechanical pump rack, the oil valve, made simple electronic fuel injection pump plus EGR exhaust gas reprocessing system to reduce emissions. Although the technology is cheap, but because of its mechanical pump can not achieve accurate fuel injection, exhaust gas particles in the circulating combustion engine overheating, resulting in higher fuel consumption, engine block wear and other reasons eliminated by the market.

The reserve of key resources

With the gradual strengthening of environmental protection by the State, the requirements for motor vehicle emission standards have become increasingly stringent, and the emission standards have been continuously upgraded. The implementation of the National III standard is a major upgrade of the engine and heavy truck industry, which will promote the development of China’s heavy truck technology. High level of progress.

Zhang Jianli, a liberation commercial vehicle company, said that the key to victory of the State III is its technical reserves. Resources are the key to the decisive battle in the future market. The price of the State III heavy truck is generally 25,000 yuan higher than that of the State II.

Shaanxi Auto is the first heavy-duty truck company in China to develop and meet the national III emission standards. Companies such as FAW and Dongfeng have also developed heavy-duty trucks that meet China III emissions. In 2004, the first Shaanxi Steam Vehicle III heavy truck surpassed the national standard when it was launched. In the past four years, Shaanxi Automobile has gradually mastered the superior technologies that meet the toll-by-weight, toll-restricted, and State III emission standards. We have established Weichai Power and Cummins' two engine platforms. Through reasonable matching of vehicles, Shaanxi Fuel has formed a fuel-saving heavy truck, Natural gas heavy trucks (Shaanqi assumes the “863” key project) and lightweight heavy trucks (reducing its own weight up to 800 kg) have launched a series of fuel-saving and lightweight heavy-duty storms, which have achieved continuous growth in user revenue.

Li Hongyan, PhD, vice president of Shaanxi Automotive Automotive Engineering Research Institute, said: “Shaanxi's State III technology has been at the forefront of the industry after four years of technical reserves, and many properties exceed national standards. The use of electronically controlled high pressure common rail technology is synchronized with the international level and represents the future of China III and its higher emissions. The purchasing country III heavy truck must choose mature technology, reliable, durable, good fuel economy, and good value for money engine."

Liu Keqiang of Shaanxi Steam Market Division told the reporter: “The vehicle's high-temperature hot zone and cold-cold zone calibration environmental test were completed in the Turpan Basin in Xinjiang at 43 degrees Celsius and the Karakoram Pass in Tibet at an altitude of 4900 meters respectively. , All performance exceeds the national standard, all are established by the country and form a mass production.Shaanxi State III heavy truck sets a big name brand as an exclusive ownership of the gold industry composed of Weichai Power, Cummins, Fast, Hande and other members. The chain has the advantages of mature and reliable technology, strong power, environmental protection, low fuel consumption, low maintenance cost, and especially the State III service technology and network system is the most complete in China. These are undoubtedly the strong guarantee for users to create the greatest wealth. Keqiang said: "Since 2006 to 2007, Shaanxi Automobile III Heavy Duty Trucks sold nearly 5,000 vehicles in China, exported more than 1,000 vehicles overseas, and sold more than 1,100 units of pure natural gas heavy trucks. From January to May 2008, Shaanxi Automobile III achieved sales of 3736. Vehicles and natural gas heavy trucks achieved 2,000 vehicles with a good market response. Lightweight 6×2 dual-steering front axle country III heavy-duty trucks are 800 kg lighter than similar products, reducing fuel consumption by 3%. Right, so users can annually save about 69,000 yuan. "

Customer care

Due to the early implementation, Shaanxi Automobile has conducted many trainings for all personnel in the service system, and plans to improve the layout of services in key areas. Shaanxi Auto believes that: Shaanxi III should be good at playing tough games and winning games to create maximum value for users. ”

Wang Hongbin, deputy general manager of Shaanxi Automobile Sales Company, told the reporter: “Shaanxi Group has established 3900 service networks in cooperation with Weichai Power, among which are 700 core state III service networks. During the Spring Service Month activities, a comprehensive inspection of the State III service system has been conducted. On June 23rd, the 'Shaanxi Steam Heavy Truck Service Technology Competition' was held to implement the ShanGang Big S Service No.2 Project, which improved the service quality of the National III Heavy Truck and popularized the service technology of the National III Heavy Truck, establishing a fast and convenient, Integrity of the service system, to seize the high point of the country III heavy truck service."

At present, Shaanxi Automobile's service management manual is about to be revised, the spare parts preparation list and maintenance manuals missing in the National II period have also been written, and all key assembly knowledge has been compiled into the materials.

In the supply of spare parts, Shaanxi Auto did a good job in the spare parts reserve of the 15 central banks. If the central bank had vacancies, the headquarters would guarantee the needs of users even by air; at the same time, Shaanxi Automobile set up a green channel. Emergency plan, the joint call center 24 hours a day to detect services, to ensure the normal supply of accessories to meet the market's multi-dimensional needs.

Heavy trucks are production materials and are money making tools. It is hoped that users can rationally choose the Authentic State III heavy truck and find a way to realize their dreams.
