Shaanxi-Beijing Pipeline Yangqu Station Pressure Vessel No. 1205 Replaced Successfully

On December 14, the staff at the Yangque Gas Station under the Sichuan Gas Transmission Management Office successfully replaced the No. 1205 emergency vent valve, overcoming several challenges during the operation. The valve in question is an ESD (Emergency Shutdown) pneumatic emergency vent valve, which plays a critical role in ensuring system safety. Prior to the replacement, the station's personnel identified potential safety risks associated with the pressure-reducing valve connected to the system. This was the first time the team had handled such a task, and they worked diligently to complete the replacement of the internal pressure relief valve. By doing so, they restored the proper function of the No. 1205 emergency vent valve, ensuring that the ESD system could operate reliably. This successful operation not only improved the safety and stability of the gas transmission system but also set a solid foundation for ongoing safe production. The team’s proactive approach and technical expertise were key to the success of this important maintenance activity.
