The importance of clean coal

Relevant experts pointed out that in recent years, based on energy conservation and emission reduction considerations, there has been an upsurge in the elimination and replacement of coal in some parts of China. However, under the existing conditions of “rich coal, lean oil, and little gas” in China, we still have to see coal will occupy the dominant position of China’s energy structure for a long time. Germany has formed a complete industrial chain in the pulverized coal preparation, warehousing, pulverized coal combustion and flue gas treatment. "This new high-efficiency pulverized coal boiler heating system no longer directly burns coal, but processes the coal into flour-like pulverized coal."

According to Cui Hongsheng, head of the Clean Coal Utilization Project of Shenyang Coal Group, the efficiency of traditional chain boilers is 65%, and the efficiency of high-efficiency pulverized coal boilers is over 90%. A conservative estimate of the same calorific value can directly reduce the amount of coal burned by 25%, which reduces pollutant emissions, supplemented by environmentally friendly equipment, and can achieve clean emissions. In addition, pulverized coal transportation and storage need to be completely closed, which also reduces dust pollution. "Although this technology has increased the process of milling, the cost of heating has not risen due to the increase in coal-fired efficiency and the reduction in the amount of coal burned."
