At the end of July this year, Reboshi, the largest oil drilling company in the United States, sent a senior business representative to the Jianghan Petroleum Machinery Factory located in Jingzhou District, Jingzhou City, Hubei Province. Director Wang Junqiao said that since the beginning of this year, the factory has an average of 15 foreign workers every day to negotiate orders and supervise production. The factory is overwhelmed.
Through various development methods such as relying on leading, basing on innovation, and guiding agglomeration, Jingzhou Petroleum Machinery Industry Group has risen rapidly and enjoys a reputation both at home and abroad. Under the lead of Jianghan Petroleum Four Machinery Factory, nearly 20 petroleum machinery manufacturing enterprises in Jingzhou formed an industrial cluster with five series and more than 100 kinds of products. Jingzhou District subsequently formed more than 30 supporting enterprises, involving more than 100 affiliated companies and employs 10,500 people. In the first half of this year, exports from this industry group increased significantly. Jianghan Petroleum's four-machine factory alone achieved export value of RMB 115 million, a year-on-year increase of 102%. Its products are sold in more than 10 countries and regions including the United States, India and Cuba.
Jingzhou Petroleum Machinery Industry Group has always put independent innovation at the top of development. In recent years, the leading company Jianghan Petroleum Machinery Factory has completed 32 new product developments, 118 new technology applications and major technical projects, applied for 61 national patents, and has authorized 52 projects. Its new product has a market share of 60% in the domestic vehicle-mounted drilling and repairing equipment market, and a solid-pressure equipment market share of 80%.
At the same time, Jingzhou District also invested 50 million yuan to strengthen the infrastructure construction of the petroleum machinery industrial park and guide affiliated enterprises to gather in the park. Last year, the park completed an industrial output value of 1.41 billion yuan, accounting for 39% of the total industrial output value of the region; and realized profits and taxes of 91.45 million yuan, accounting for more than 25% of the total tax revenue in the region. In the first half of this year, the sales revenue of 8 enterprises including Jianghan Construction Machinery and petroleum special vehicles in the park reached 696 million yuan.
