Yutong uses engine thermal management technology to achieve passenger car fuel economy

Beijing, April 17 (Reporter Nan Chen) The reporter learned from Zhengzhou Yutong Group Co., Ltd. in Beijing on the 17th that the engine thermal management test started from the end of last year is progressing smoothly. At present, nearly one thousand Yutong buses have been adopted. Engine thermal management technology equipment can save 5%-10% of fuel in 100 kilometers.

According to Yutong technical personnel, the passenger car adopts engine thermal management technology, which mainly controls the temperature of the engine cooling water (86 degrees Celsius - 95 degrees Celsius), which can prolong the service life of the engine, make the fuel combustion more fully, and reduce the power consumption of the cooling fan. The engine is always working in the most suitable temperature environment, saving 5%-10% of fuel in 100 kilometers. At present, Yutong's newly developed models adopt this technology and perform performance tests in the early stage of development.

According to Yutong technical personnel, the test shows that the Yutong bus using this technology can save 2.45 liters of fuel in the city under 100 km. The actual tests conducted by the passengers of the 12 durable pilot bases randomly selected by Yutong showed that the passenger cars using engine thermal management technology can save 1 liter - 3 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers.

In 2006, Yutong Group's sales revenue was 10.139 billion yuan, accounting for more than 22% in the domestic passenger car market, and 2002 export buses, with an export value of 105 million US dollars.
