Tungsten alloys rods are commonly used in the aerospace industry, as they have excellent radiation shielding properties and can withstand high temperatures. They are also used in the medical industry for radiation therapy and in the automotive industry for balancing weights.
The composition of tungsten alloys rods can vary depending on the specific application. For example, a high-density tungsten alloy rod may contain 90-97% tungsten, while a radiation shielding tungsten alloy rod may contain 90-95% tungsten, 3-5% nickel, and 1-2% copper.
Tungsten alloys rods are a versatile and reliable material that can be used in a wide range of industries and applications.
Recently, the first phase of Changchai's 300,000-plus multi-cylinder diesel engine base, a project that has drawn significant attention, officially went into operation at the factory area on Changjiang Road. This marks the company's first major initiative to accelerate its entry into the automotive sector, expand its industrial machinery portfolio, and refine and optimize its product and industrial structure. It is considered a foundational project for achieving the vision of "Changchai Changbai Group" and will drive a new leap in the development of Changchai’s products and industries.
Gao Yuan'en, Vice Chairman of the China Machinery Industry Federation, and Ni Hongjie, Chairman of the China Combustion Engine Industry Association, sent special congratulations on the milestone.
He Jianguang, General Manager of the company, emphasized that the new multi-cylinder machine base incorporates advanced technologies such as multi-station systems, ultrasonic cleaning machines, non-simultaneous flexible ground transportation assembly lines, motorized raceway test pre-assembly lines, AGV car transport, and automatic docking stations. These innovations have significantly enhanced the production capabilities and technical level of Changchai’s multi-cylinder equipment, laying a solid foundation for its expansion into the automotive industry and broader industrial machinery markets.
He also stated that the completion of this first phase represents a new milestone in Changchai’s development history and marks the initial step in building the Changchai Industrial Park. The company now stands at a higher starting point, with a stronger commitment to accelerating the construction of a modern, innovative Changchai.
According to reports, the first phase of the project will mainly produce multi-cylinder engines for Euro II, Euro III, and Euro IV vehicles, as well as industrial machinery applications, including light trucks, pickup trucks, SUVs, construction equipment, wheel loaders, and combine harvesters. It also includes high-tech, environmentally friendly, and energy-saving products.
The second phase will focus on building a diesel engine assembly line capable of producing 150,000 units annually, along with a diesel engine testing laboratory, a test car workshop, and physical and chemical measurement centers. Once both phases are completed, the Changchai multi-cylinder engine base will achieve an annual production capacity of 300,000 units, positioning it as a leading enterprise in China's industry with top-tier equipment, management, products, and workforce.
