The Technical Center tested two HOWO tractors equipped with 10L, 12L natural gas engines. The test site from the Golmud City along the Qinghai-Tibet Highway to the Kunlun mountain pass the entire section, the elevation of 2800 meters to 4767 meters.

The experimenter carried out the calibration of supercharger speed protection, starting performance, smoke performance, vehicle driving and other calibration work, and according to the changes of the environment were revised to improve and enhance the performance of natural gas engines, natural gas engines and vehicle Matching reached a good state.

After seven days of plateau tests, the engineers of the Power Design Institute optimized the engine program to improve the plateau performance of natural gas engines.
