·In 2015, the number of new energy vehicles increased by nearly 170%

On the 25th, it was learned from the Traffic Management Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security: By the end of 2015, the number of motor vehicles in the country had reached 279 million, including 172 million vehicles, and the number of new registrations and annual increments reached the highest level in history.
According to the People’s Daily reported on January 26, in 2015, the number of newly registered cars reached 23.85 million, and the net increase in possession was 17.81 million, the highest level in history. In the past five years, the proportion of cars in motor vehicles has increased from 47.06% to 61.82%. The motorized travel mode of the people has experienced a transition from motorcycles to automobiles.
There are 40 cities in the country with more than one million cars, including 11 cities in Beijing, Chengdu and Shenzhen with more than 2 million cars. In 2015, the number of new energy vehicles reached 583,200, an increase of 169.48% over 2014. Among them, the number of pure electric vehicles was 332,000, an increase of 317.06% over 2014.
In 2015, the number of small passenger cars (private cars) registered in the name of individuals exceeded 124 million, an increase of 18.77 million compared with 2014. There are 31 private cars per 100 households nationwide. In Beijing, Chengdu, Shenzhen and other big cities, there are more than 60 private cars per 100 households.
In addition, in 2015, the number of motorists driving in the country exceeded 320 million, and the number of motorists was 280 million. The number of new motorists was 33.75 million.
