A few days ago, Air Liquide Advanced Technology announced that it will supply a LNG reliquefaction unit "Turbo-Brayton" for a LNG gas carrier.
The Shell company that awarded the order is Shell, and the "Turbo-Brayton" package installed on the LNG fuel tanker is expected to be delivered and installed in 2016.
It is reported that after the completion of the ship, Rotterdam will be used as the home port to supply LNG fuel to LNG vessels operating in the pollution control area (ECA) of the North West European Sea. The Turbo-Brayton reliquefaction LNG package installed on board will manage the evaporation rate of LNG and recover steam during fueling operations. The vessel's installed TBF-350 equipment has a reliquefaction capacity of 0.5 tons per hour.
