On November 24th, Yuchai Ship successfully passed a 6RT-flex58T-D low-speed high-power diesel engine for ships. The main engine was used for the 74500DWT product tanker built in Jiangsu New Century Shipbuilding. The technical performance parameters of the diesel engine meet the design requirements, meet the patent specifications of WinGD, and meet the requirements of the Lloyd's Register of Shipping (Location Contact) (LR).
At the same time, the third 5RT-flex50DF dual-fuel engine produced by Yuchai Ship will also be inspected from November 26th to 28th. The main engine is used for the 15000DWT chemical tanker project of AVIC Dingheng Shipbuilding. The shipowner is Sweden. Terntank. The fourth dual fuel engine will also be completed during the year. The first dual-fuel low-speed machine was shipped to the shipyard in August this year and is currently being installed on board. It will be piloted in January next year.
