Fox River & Countryside FPD updates

Here’s an update from the Alexis website regarding the construction of the new fire station for Fox River & Countryside. The project seems to be progressing well, and there are some interesting developments to share. The new facility is located at 6N330 Route 25 in St. Charles, and it appears that Station 3 has officially relocated there. As mentioned by John Tulipano, the new station is now occupied, though some finishing touches are still underway. The older station has been vacated and will no longer be used. John even shared a few photos he took back in January, and based on his recent visit, things are looking promising. John also provided a link to the groundbreaking ceremony, as well as another link confirming their move into the new location on February 27, 2014. It’s exciting to see how much progress has been made since then. Attached below are some additional images taken by John himself, showing the fire station during its construction phase. These photos give a great sense of the scale and effort involved in building such a facility.
