According to the Environmental Protection Bureau of Qujing City, Yunnan Province, the Qujing Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau recently held a meeting to approve the construction of the vehicle environmental protection test station, and approved the construction of 28 motor vehicle environmental protection stations in the city. After the environmental protection test station is put into operation, it will conduct environmental protection tests for motor vehicles in the city, which will help improve the quality of the air environment.
As the number of motor vehicles continues to increase, the problem of air pollution from motor vehicle exhaust is becoming increasingly prominent. According to the staff of the Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau, the current air pollution of motor vehicles in Qujing City has accounted for about 25% of air pollution, which has become one of the most prominent problems in the atmospheric environment. In order to control the emission of pollutants from motor vehicles and improve the quality of the air environment, Qujing City Environmental Protection Bureau plans to construct 28 environmental protection testing stations within the city. A total of 85 environmental testing lines will be set up to conduct environmental protection testing for motor vehicles in the city.
According to the relevant person in charge of the Pollution Prevention and Control Section of Qujing Environmental Protection Bureau, only Kunming City has implemented environmental protection testing for motor vehicles in Yunnan Province. Qujing City and Yuxi City will become the second batch of cities in the province to carry out environmental testing. The 28 environmental protection testing stations for motor vehicles to be built in Qujing City will mainly provide a comprehensive understanding of the pollutants emitted by motor vehicles in the city, control the emission of pollutants, and improve the quality of the city's air environment. For vehicles that fail to pass the test, they must be repaired and repaired again.
