Mundelein apartment fire 9-1-13

Here are some photos of the apartment fire that took place at 524 McKinley Ave in Mundelein, which occurred around 9:20 AM today. The police were the first to arrive and reported visible smoke and possible occupants still inside. Initial searches found no one, but command requested a change of quarters box alarm. The units on scene included Engine 431, Ambulance 431, Quint 432, Ambulance 432, Engine 411, Quint 462, Countryside Chief 4100, and Battalion Chief 43. The fire was quickly contained, and no injuries have been reported so far. It's always good to see the local fire department responding efficiently.
