From the sensor (such as various pressure sensors, temperature sensors), intelligent circuit components (such as various HART-based instrument circuit board), connectors to the instrument metal casing, plastic parts, etc. have a professional manufacturer. The OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) model and ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) model are widely used. Technical institutions that provide product development, verification, review, consultation, and certification services, and media agencies providing information and advertising services are all over the country. This environment has greatly reduced the entry cost of the instrument manufacturers, and it is very suitable for the survival of small businesses, bringing about the current flourishing situation of instrument companies, and at the same time making the market competition unprecedentedly fierce.

Compare domestic and foreign-funded enterprises:
(1) Foreign-funded enterprises have obvious advantages in brand, technology and market operations. The common problem of domestic-funded enterprises is the general lack of unique technologies and unique products;
(2) Enterprises with large scale and large product coverage in foreign-funded enterprises have obvious advantages over those with special products; enterprises with product-specific ones in domestic-funded enterprises have faster growth rates for larger-scale integrated enterprises;
(3) Domestically funded enterprises have a competitive advantage in traditional instruments with low technological content.

The comparison results actually reflect that: China's instrument market is very sensitive to the technical content of products. Large foreign-funded enterprises have invested heavily in development, and their products are more advanced than specialized ones. Therefore, they are more popular in China. The products of domestic-funded enterprises are homogenous on the technical level, so the flexibility of professional companies is more easily brought into play. In fact, domestic instruments of different levels have a very good market demand. Making traditional instruments into quality products will also be welcomed by the market.
