Liu Liangbiao, an appraisal officer at the Hezhou Automobile Repairing Plant in Guangxi, was honored to represent top service personnel during the 2006-2007 technical service summary meeting organized by the Fast Group Corporation. After the event, he shared insights with this reporter about the Hezhou heavy vehicle market and the plant’s role as a specialized service station for Fast.
Located in eastern Guangxi, Hezhou is home to over 4,000 heavy-duty vehicles, with approximately 200 new units added annually. Around 80% of these are Dongfeng Liuzhou Auto’s “Bulong†trucks, while the remaining 20% come from brands like Chongqing Zhongqi and Shaanxi Heavy Duty Truck. The Hezhou Automobile Repair Factory employs over 100 staff and serves as an authorized service center for several major manufacturers, including Dongfeng, Shaanxi Heavy Duty Truck, and Chongqing Heavy Duty Truck.
In December 2005, the Hezhou Plant was officially designated as a special technical service station for Fast. Liu Liangbiao took charge of post-sales technical services for Fast transmissions. By the first half of 2007 alone, he had replaced nearly 100 Fast transmissions for customers, and almost all newly added local vehicles were equipped with Fast transmissions.
A vehicle typically consists of key components such as the engine, transmission, and axle. In traditional after-sales service, when a transmission issue arises, it usually requires reporting to the vehicle manufacturer, who then contacts the transmission supplier for repairs. This process, known as the “big cycle,†can be time-consuming. However, Fast operates differently — it is the only independent transmission manufacturer that provides its own service, spare parts, tools, and technical data. This allows the Hezhou service station to handle transmission issues directly, creating a more efficient “small loop.â€
Liu emphasized that the focus of Fast’s service is speed. This approach has earned Fast a reputation for being fast, reliable, convenient, and efficient. As a result, the brand has built a strong image and trust among users in the region.
Liu shared a customer’s feedback: “According to Fast’s service standards, we often visit users to check their transmissions and fix any issues. Sometimes we tell them to let us take a look, and they respond, ‘No, that’s great!’†He said this with pride, highlighting the satisfaction that comes from good service.
When asked about his experience working with Fast, Liu highlighted two main factors: trust and mutual benefit. Fast’s professional attitude, timely support, and strong reputation made him confident in the partnership. Moreover, Fast actively supports local service stations, helping them build their brand and create more value for both users and service providers. This collaboration has led to long-term, win-win relationships.
