Chery Heavy Industry and South Korea Sign Global Cooperation Agreement

On December 18, 2012, Chery Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. and Korea Datong Industrial Co., Ltd. formally signed a global strategic cooperation agreement in Wuhu, Anhui Province. According to the agreement, both parties will form a strategic alliance in the technology supply chain.

It is understood that Korea Datong Industry Co., Ltd. is the largest agricultural machinery manufacturer in South Korea and has comparative advantages in semi-feeding combine harvesters, high-speed transplanters, walk-in transplanters, small and medium-sized tractors, and large-horsepower tractors. The products are sold worldwide. More than 80 countries.

Chery Heavy Industry is a strong rising manufacturing company in China. In 2012, Chery Heavy Industries achieved rapid growth in various businesses. Among them, the Guwang rice harvester has occupied the domestic high-end market and the Guwang wheat harvester has entered the industry's first echelon on the market in the first year, and the Guwang corn harvester has a decent performance in the market. The machine is based on absolute market advantage and is in the leading position in the industry.

Through cooperation with Datong, South Korea, it is possible to further enhance the R&D and manufacturing capabilities of Chery Heavy Industries in paddy field equipment, half-feed harvesters and other paddy field equipment.
