During the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” period, there are no shortages of demand highlights in the field of plastic pipe: housing construction and municipal engineering still provide stable domestic demand, but there are regulatory pressures in the short term; water conservancy construction policies strongly support an average annual investment of 400 billion, greatly increasing the demand for pipelines; The construction of rural drinking water safety systems and the demand for building materials to push rural plastic pipes will be upgraded; the gas supply system and heating consumption trends will also increase the demand. China has now established plastic pipe processing and application industries focusing on polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) materials. These three types of materials account for the major supply ratio of plastic pipes. PVC's supporting industrial chain is the most complete and domestic raw material support, making PVC pipe has occupied half of the market in recent years. With the upgrade of consumption and the development of chemical materials leading to the upgrading of pipelines, in the future China's PE, PP and other pipes will increase the proportion of demand.
